Refrigeration Maintenance Engineer, Newcastle, 35% Night shift premium working 4 nights, Monday - Thursday.
This leading provider of Refrigeration & Maintenance services to the Retail & Commercial sector throughout the UK. Having recently been awarded a multi million pound, long term contract with one of the leading high street retailers, we are now recruiting throughout the North of England.

As a Refrigeration Maintenance Engineer you will:

• Carry out all maintenance tasks and Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM) as scheduled and directed by Service Desk to Customer specification and in house target levels ensuring appropriate fault finding techniques are used where required.
• Complete all necessary paperwork, customer in store e-based systems & administration and return to relevant parties as required, on time (same day).
• Report any site health and safety issues or site performance issues that cannot be rectified back to respective Supervisor.
• Assist in the delivery of Customer KPI’s in relation to; Asset failures, response & fix times, PPM, H&S, F Gas & ‘’zero off sales’’.
• Undertake case cleans in accordance with programmed works ensuring it is completed to a high level ensuring all drains are cleared, probes working correctly and leak detection has been completed as specified.
• Maintain a high level of workmanship ensuring all areas where work has been carried out are left clean and tidy.
• Ensure the Company is promoted in a professional manner at all times, maintaining an appropriate attitude, appearance in front of the Customer and leaving a positive message with the Customer.
• Actively promote the importance of each company’s QA, H&S, Environmental and internal company policies.

The ideal Refrigeration Maintenance Engineer will hold the following skills and experiences:

• Experience within a Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM) engineer, chiller engineer, refrigeration installation engineer, junior refrigeration engineer or refrigeration apprentice role.
• C&G 2078, C&G 2079, NVQ2 RAC (or equivalent), NVQ3 Complex RAC (or equivalent), CO2, CSCS qualified.
• A full UK driving license.
• Good Health and Safety knowledge.
• Electrical / Fault Finding Knowledge.
• Ability to be flexible in attitude to work, including undertaking some works outside of office hours and participating in the night works rota where required.

In return you will receive a salary of £9.50 - £11.50 per hour plus variable overtime rates depending on skills and experiences (basic 40 hours per week) plus 20 days holiday (increase with LOS), company van, Pension, Phone, PDA and training. 35% night shift premium, working 4 nights Monday - Thursday, 10pm-8am. Permanent night shifts available.
