This leading provider of Refrigeration & Maintenance services to the Retail & Commercial sector throughout the UK. Having recently been awarded a multi million pound, long term contract with one of the leading high street retailers, we are now recruiting throughout the North of England.

As a Senior / Reactive Refrigeration Engineer you will:

• Take a proactive role in troubleshooting problem locations.
• Carry out reactive works, providing root cause analysis to the account team.
• Work alongside the Desk Engineers to react to targeted poor performing locations within agreed time frames.
• Undertake auditing on site performance, re/commissioning, reports, site analysis and assess & report trends.
• Actively promote the importance of each company’s QA, H&S, Environmental and internal company policies.
• Report any site health and safety issues or site performance issues that cannot be rectified back to respective Supervisor.
• Assist in the delivery of Customer KPI’s in relation to; Asset failures, response & fix times, PPM, H&S, F Gas & ‘’zero off sales’’.
• Maintain a high level of workmanship ensuring all areas where work has been carried out are left clean and tidy.
• Ensure the Company is promoted in a professional manner at all times, maintaining an appropriate attitude, appearance in front of the Customer and leaving a positive message with the Customer.

The ideal Senior / Reactive Refrigeration Engineer will hold the following skills and experiences:

• Experience within a Service engineer, chiller engineer or maintenance engineer role.
• C&G 2078, C&G 2079, NVQ2 RAC (or equivalent), NVQ3 Complex RAC (or equivalent), CO2, CSCS qualified.
• A full UK driving license.
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
• IT literate.
• Ability to be flexible in attitude to work, including undertaking some works outside of office hours and participating in the call out / duty rota.

In return you will receive a salary of £12.00 - £13.50 per hour depending on skills and experiences plus 20 days holiday (increase with LOS), company van, paid overtime, Pension, Phone and PDA.
