Based in Newcastle
Basic salary to £21,000 plus commission
Our client is one of the UK's leading recruitment agencies in the education market in the UK supplying teaching personnel including teachers, nursery nurses and teaching assistants. They are a preferred supplier to many LEA's around the country.
They are currently looking for a consultant to join their team in their branch in Newcastle. You will be building an education temps desk supplying educational staff into Secondary and Primary Schools around the North East. Your role will be to develop this desk and add to the existing business by sales calls and by going out and visiting clients face to face.
You will either come from a recruitment background - they will also consider all sectors of recruitment. Alternatively you will be working as a teacher and keen to move into recruitment whilst utilising your education knowledge.
You will also
* Enjoy working under pressure and to targets
* Highly motivated, enthusiastic with a can do attitude
* a flexible attitude to working hours
* enjoy building and maintaining strong working relationships
* ability to work as part of a small team
